Treasurer’s Report for 2010

The Association Finances are in a robust state.

All the Association monies are now held in a single, interest bearing, current account.

We were responsible for the Worthington Cup this year.  There appears to be more entry fees paid than teams who actually took part.

Your treasurer paid for the hire of the room for the Horsley Cup and received £107.27 from the organizer of the event resulting in a profit to the Association of £12.27

I have placed sub-totals in the Income and Expenditure Accounts so that you may see how the Association’s affairs progressed without the CCCBR Visit monies.  You will see that we overspent by £1.71 this year.

The CCCBR Visit cost the Association £1,681.75.  Much of this was on organizing expenses and a loss on the Beer Festival but the Association’s standing was enhanced by the excellence of the arrangements we made.  This loss has occurred over both the 2009 and 2010 accounting periods.

There has been a drop in the membership this year.  Is this natural wastage or should we be looking to recruitment ?
