There were two training days organised in 2011; 7th May and 22nd October.

The May event was targeted at more experienced ringers than Bob Doubles by having courses on Oxford Treble Bob Minor at Brailsford and Cambridge Surprise Minor at Eckington.  The Oxford Treble Bob course was cancelled due to all participants withdrawing because of other commitments.  The Cambridge Surprise Minor course was fully subscribed and pupils found it very beneficial.

The October training day courses consisted of four sessions based around Eckington.  Of these, three were very basic, two of Rounds and Call changes and one of Plain Hunt.  The fourth course was Plain Bob Minor. The participants enjoyed the courses and found them very useful.  All courses were half-day duration and were well attended.  The intent was to have similar courses in the south of the county, but there were insufficient numbers. 

The Education Committee appreciates the effort put in by the course tutors and helpers as without the helpers, it would not be possible to run the courses.
