The Internet

Over the past year, we have had 1600 visitors to the web site from all over the world. Visitors like the fact that the web site is simple and easy to navigate.

A new addition this year is a copy of the Book of Millennium Bellringers, which documents who rang where on 1st January 2002. Strike Notes, the Derby District newsletter, also gets regular updates.

Thanks to those who provide information to be published. If you have any ideas on what we can include, then please let me know. Some visitors would like contact information to be published. Please let me know if you would like to advertise your tower and be an email contact - you may even get more people to your practice night as a result!

Over the last year, visitors have included Maureen Jones (nee Parkin), who used to listen to Bolsover bells in the 40's and 50's and is now learning to ring at Intwood, Essex. Also, does anyone remember Ernest Sollis who attended the Annual Dinner 25 to 30 years ago at Chesterfield?

If you are on email, do you know that there is a list for bellringing news and events in Derbyshire? Non-members of The Derby Diocesan Association of Church Bellringers and ringers from neighbouring counties are also welcome to join.

The easiest way to join the list is to send a blank email to ddacb-subscribe@yahoogroups.com, or you could go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ddacb.
