Web Site Report

The Derby Diocesan Association web site has lots of interesting and useful information on it, just visit derbyda.org.uk. You can see when Churches in the Diocese have their practice, who the local contact is and how to contact them; along with a map of the Churches in each district, who the officers of the districts are and also how they can be contacted. There are records of past peals rung, compositions and the book of millennium ringers. The Annual report gets added (with the exception of members home address & phone numbers) and there is also a special section run by the Education committee.

Thank you to all those people who provide information to be published on the web site. Each issue of the Central and Southern District newsletter, Strike Notes, gets added. Do any other Districts want anything published?

If your Church has a web site, please tell me, I can provide a link to it via our site; there are currently links to some Churches, ringing sites and other appropriate places.

Over the last year, we have had over 27,000 visits, with an average of 241 'hits' a day. For some reason, Wednesday is the busiest day, with most people visiting between 8pm and 9pm.

Are you aware there is an email list for bellringing news and events in Derbyshire? Non-members of the DDA are also welcome to join. The easiest way to subscribe is to send a blank email to ddacb-subscribe@yahoo.com.

Please use our website, remember even if you do not have access to the Internet, most libraries have access facilities. Let me know what you think – updated information is vital to keep it relevant. Any links, ideas or suggestions would be gratefully received. Thank you.
